have A career abroad

or maybe, Europe!!

Yeah, so maybe Europe is what you are looking at !!

I am sure, you would know that Europe is a continent. However, there`s an arrangement between 28 European countries (& growing!!) to ease the travel & work restrictions among themselves. This arrangement is known as European Union, to put it mildly. I wouldn`t want to get into the details but just remember, that if you manage to become a citizen of one of the EU countries you could get into another member country without the requirement of any visa. There`s also very little restrictions on the amount & the kind of work you can take up in the member countries.

Having said that, now let`s move forward to explore the various countries as a possible opportunity!!

BRITAIN

The most popular of the EU countries is undoubtedly the U.K. This is mainly due to the fact that there isn`t any language barrier if, you have the knowledge of English. This is the biggest factor which keeps it as the numero uno of the possible destinations in Europe.

Although, Britain is quite small in size when compared to France & Germany... the economy is at par if not superior than these countries.Infact, its an island having a population of about 60 million.

Getting a visa might be a little difficult but when you compare the whole visa process with that of the U.S, i think you`ll agree that its a cake-walk!! There are various options for people from all walks-of-life... be it the engineers (software, mechanical, civil), accounting professionals among others.

Keep an eye for other countries which will follow soon...!!

Maybe the U.S.....

The United States of America has traditionally been the leader when, it comes to attracting young (or even old!!) talent from all corners. The reasons are quite obvious. It has got a huge economy, having GDP (Gross Domestic Product) of well over 11 Trillion Dollars. Its sports-person are among the world`s best. More than two-thirds of the "Fortune-500" companies originate from the U.S. It is also the only super-power in the world right now, although that might change in a century`s time!!

Although, many people would want to settle in the States let me tell you that its not EASY. The visa regulations are tightened to such an extent that even people who are only interested in touring the U.S are getting their visa denied...
This is mainly due to the fact that the visa rules stipulate that every person who applies for a U.S visa might want to settle there !! So, the onus of proving this argument false lies on the visa applicants, which might be tough.

Also, don`t forget that it has been badly hit by the credit crunch & infact, it has been officially declared that the U.S is in a recession, which is expected to last a couple of years more & the situation is likely to improve only, by 2010!!

So, i would like to advice you that this might not be the best of times to consider it as a viable option.

Maybe Australia...!!

So, you think Australia might be a good option for you. Well, but do you know everything that you would need to know about it??

Let me begin by saying that it is probably the hottest TRAVEL destination in the world. Considering the massive size & scale no wonder then, that its a continent!! From the snowy mountains to deserts to beaches... it has got it all... which you could ever dream of!!

But does it have the economy (read jobs) to get you going & attracted for settling there??

Although, the world has been pretty badly hit by the credit crunch in the US... the Ozzie economy is still flourishing. The fundamentals of the economy is pretty impressive & if & when, the world gets back to normal after the current economic crisis, expect the Australian economy to be one of the fastest ones to stage a solid recovery!!

The jobs are plenty but ofcourse, you will need to have all the necessary skills... as i must mention here, the market is damn competitive. So, while you might expect a good standard of living for you & your family... you would obviously need to show your talent to attain that status!!

I think many of you would have heard the names of Sydney & Melbourne. But, when it comes to the capital city, only a few maybe able to answer it. The capital of Australia is Canberra. However, most of the economic activities are concentrated in its eastern region. Canberra is mainly concerned with the administrative tasks.

Now, those who are looking for a job in the banking & related financial industry might want to look at Melbourne & Sydney. As, 70% of these companies are headquartered in these two cities! Infact, recently there has been a huge surge in demand for the accounting professionals.
For those who would be interested in the lucrative mining industry, i would recommend them to look at Perth as an option. It is situated in western Australia.

The ideal place to look for a job in Australia is essentially a handful of capital cities of the various states. Like Adelaide (South Australia), Melbourne (Victoria), Sydney (New South Wales), Brisbane (Queensland).

This is all i can think of right now...
